Therefore, when you buy solid timber furniture from us, you are investing both in exquisite hardwood and in the legacy of regenerating forests, thus, in turn, reducing greenhouse emissions. Trees absorb carbon dioxide from the atmosphere and store the carbon so efficiently that about half the dry weight of a tree is carbon. This carbon remains locked up in the wood even when we use it for building products or furniture. So, in more ways than one, wood is naturally better!
