Advanced Biochemical (Thailand) Co., Ltd. (ABT) produces bio-based epichlorohydrin (ECH) using an innovative process at its plant in Map Ta Phut, Thailand. Since 2012, ABT has produced the most sustainable ECH in terms of carbon footprint and process environmental performance. In 2015, ABT was the first biochemical producer in Asia to be certified by the Roundtable on Sustainable Biomaterials (RSB).

ABT’s ECH is 100% bio-based and manufactured using renewable glycerine, a by-product from the transformation of vegetable oils. It can be utilized as a drop-in for a wide range of industries.

ABT partners with leading companies across the value chain who valorise bio-based ECH for epoxy and non-epoxy applications.
